I'm currently playing this on the GBA and its far more amusing than it should be. It's pretty cool I've gotten to play as Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon , Amadala, R2-D2 and Jar Jar. Since I like Jar Jar and the vast majority of people don't I'm going to take great pleasure in saying that in certian parts its nessessary to use him. He can also take down destroyer droids faster than Qui-Gon can.

He can also take down destroyer droids faster than Qui-Gon can. Does he annoy them into self-destructing?

It's been selling sooo well but I don't get why. Couldn't you just use existing legos to do it for free?

Well, depends on how you define "free." Legos are expensive nowadays. And it's probably more fun to see them animated anyway.

Well at the very least a 5 dollar set or two can get enough main characters to get the thrills of recreating all the coolest scenes of the movies and ones you didn't see. Scenes like decapitations of native naboo species for instance...

The problem is Legos are not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. The other thing is doing it with real legos isn't the same plus this is just such a silly game idea. Then there's the added fact that this is among the most entertaining Star Wars games I've ever played. Sadly most of them are lousy. Knights of the Old Republic is ok and its on a system I don't own and the only other really fun one is X-Wing vs Tie Fighter.

it was a really good game tho...very fun......I borrowed it from a friend, for xbox, when it first came out after he was done and all that...jealous that I did better than him...heehee
then he traded it back in for credit towards something else while it was still high
if you get a chance to play it and love star wars, youll love this and all of its clever fun...its kinda easy, yah...but that doesnt take away from it...co-op play rocks if your partner isnt a jag

Lego Star Wars is now a Greatest Hits game going for $19.99. Incidentally, so are Tekken 5 and GTA: San Andreas.
