open market unless it is plane specific. like you can pick stuff from ravenloft unless its something that directly involves manipulating the mist and stuff (unless you really want it, then we can modify it so it works everywhere) I'll bring the taco dip

Okay, while picking my magic items I noticed that the 3.0 DMG is rather vague in its description of the Ring of Spell Turning. It basically says that the ring acts as if the wearer had spell turning cast upon him. However, it doesn't list a per day limit or anything, making it sound as if spell turning is always active. Even at 150,000 gp this would be extremely powerful, so I tried to find some explanation online. What I came up with is this, apparently how it works in 3.5:
Should I presume that's the way you're going to handle it, and price it accordingly? Or do you want to use the more expensive 3.0 version that might be read as EXTREMELY awesome?

Okay, I totally lied when I said last question. I've got another one. In the Quintessential Druid there's a feat that lets you pick one of a list of abilities. On that list is the ability to wild shape into colossal creatures. Ordinarily, the Shifter class only goes up to Gargantuan. But this ability has a prerequisite of level 15 druid. Will you allow me to count my Shifter levels toward this requirement?

Yeah. That feat would just let me reach the highest size category. And Shifter isn't as powerful as it looks: carefully reading the polymorph spells (which work the same as wild shape), I only get the extraordinary and nonmagical abilities of the things I turn into, not the supernatural or spell-like (in other words, anything magical) abilities. Unfortunately, this means things like I don't get to use a dragon's breath weapon. Which seems to largely defeat the point of turning into a dragon.

While that is true, you'd also take large amounts of crushing damage from being in my stomach. Maybe acid damage too, even. S'been awhile since I read up on anything swallowing somebody whole since I never had to deal with it.

2d6 crushing and 2d6 acid each round, so it'll add up after a few rounds, but its only 50 damage to cut out, no prob.

Not that I'd do that anyway. Maybe as a finish, but certainly not right off the bat.

Anybody else find it scary that the guy that can turn into a pit fiend is the weakest, offensively speaking, character in the party?
