Thats right you heard it right. A group of people got together, and for the past two/three years they have been building a neverwinter style PC game that takes place in Ravenloft. Now I'm a little confused as to its current stage or if it is finished. If you go to the link below and choose the downloads tab, it leads me to believe that you can download the game and play it as long as you have the Neverwinter Nights game installed on your PC. Anyway check it out here, looks good if all goes well. www.nwnravenloft.com/There is also this link: nwn.bioware.com/players/profile_ravenloft.htmlBy the way, I believe this game was discussed on the Fraternity Board somewhere, but that was several year back now so it may have fallen to the back burner or even been deleted.

Just saw that there is a forum for the game as well. Seems like the game is done. I'm gonna try to get it working as I have the first NVN game here somewhere.

There was talk about this project way back on the Kargatane board even, now that you mention it.

Finally got it installed and all that. Very nice game. You start in Barovia, and I don't think there is a limit to what countries you can/cannot go to. In the core that is. The only thing that bothers me is the controls. NWN always seemed to have tight controls and a little hard to get used to.

Does Neverwinter Nights cost anything to get?

The Diamond version has the original game and two expansions which you need for the Ravenloft game, and a third expansion I never heard of. Its only $20 at Best Buy, and if you go the route of ebay its probably cheaper than that. Everything involving Ravenloft is free, you just need the physical game for it to work. I'd let you borrow mine, but you need the actual disc to play the game.
Also, Neverwinter Nights 2 just came out, but you do not need that for the Ravenloft game, so don't let that confuse you, as Neverwinter Nights 2 is at $50 I think.
If you do decide to play I can help you install everything.
You can play in pre-designed campaigns, or online, which is what I'm doing now. Though online is pretty much by yourself because there are only 10 people online at the same time usually.

I'd like to see it sometime then, before I buy it.

Unfortunately you do need the disc to play it, but I can at least show it to you guys sometime. I'll see if I can put it on my laptop and show you one day soon.
