Sorry about the piloting dude. Sure I have the starship operations, but it's only for starships. You mean starfighters, I assume? Ok for things I like does house rules stuff count? Because I love the way you handled starting money Inspired by the variant hit point rule you made for D&D, which, as a sorcerer in that game, I loved. I thought it was good the way dwarves were given the dwarven waraxe for free in D&D 3.5, and I thought it was dumb that a weapon made specifically for a particular race should require as much for them to use effectively as it does another race.

Ya I totally meant to say starfighters and not the same thing twice. Typed faster than I thought on that one. So there you have it gunblade: i'm only good at starfighters and that just works for me and not everyone. Transport pilot is more than open to anyone who is not me. Heck, multiple starfighter pilots is wonderful as well. Don't let me stop you from taking pilot

eh, i just hope you know that "transport pilot" doesn't sound very glamorus, but theres no need for me to take pilot anymore, sure haveing multiple people be able to do it is nice, but, its not needed and since i already have a +12 to it, it seems pointless now, i'd rather send the skill points somewere useful....speaking of which, any ideas on a useful skill not everyone has?

Transport pilot not glamorous? Han Solo would not agree.

Suit yourself if you wanna give up piloting. Force skills are good out of combat stuff for guardians i'd say. Friendship, illusion, affect mind. Friendship especially is good in a pinch.

hmm, well i do have one suggestion, you probibly wont like it, seeing as DMs, or GMs in this case, get bored of it quickly in most cases, but i'd like there to be alittle more fighting, its the only time where everyone in the group has a chance to do anything, i dont have a problim with there being only one battle a session, but in the last two sessions i haven't been in a fight, quite litterally i only rolled one d20 last session, i sat around all night, until near the end of the night when i got to buy some stuff

I might be interested in playing, but then I would have to have a whole separate storyline that intersects and arcs with everyone elses main plot, because I would probably need to be a crazy dark side aggressor/instigator to have fun...and that would probably be too much to do, no?

I've got as many players as my Gamemastering ability can handle right now anyway. But this group interacts a lot like that anyway. At any given time they are split into two or even three groups all over the galaxy.
Gunblade, I will try to get some more action into the story. My issue with battle is that it often eats up a lot of time without really getting any roleplaying in. And too often it ends up with no tactics, where it simply unfolds as "run up to your enemy and roll the dice til they fall over dead." Some creative tactics (ambushes, cover, synchronized shooting, etc.) would spice things up a bit and I think help make the combat more interesting.

It can, but then sometimes it takes care of itself. Like tonight's session.
Speaking of which, for those of you that were there, how do you think it went? I tried to answer the "more action" call, and I thought it went pretty well.

I'd certainly agree on the more action front. I think it went quite well. I also think their were many tatics employed in the combats and surrounding them too which made it more than just a walk up and hit them till dead marathon. After I get my time for my real character, I say good job sir.

Obviously I wasn't there, but I just wanted to say that I found, as well as many players I believe, that doing one big battle in a session where players are often forced to use more strategy and planning is much more enjoyable than three or four small battles throughout the session.
