Need help with starship combat

I've gotten most of it down after reading the book. I'm just not sure how to figure out the total attack bonus to a given weapon. That mostly falls under what the crew bonus is to a weapon. I know what else to add and subtract to my attack bonus.

Crew bonus is for the GM basically. In a player's case they would replace that with their own ranged attack bonus. The crew bonus to an X-Wing, in other words, is the ranged attack bonus of a generic pilot stuffed in there. In the case of any of the players, it's a meaningless statistic unless you decide for some reason to have some anonymous NPC crew your guns for you.

Ok, well my co-pilot droid has starship operations for space transport. Given the number of guns on my ship and the placement of them this may come in handy.

Don't forget about your fire control for each weapon. That could help ya out too

Under all the combined bonus' for fireing a starship weapon there is always a "crew" bonus. I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be added in but I may as well let the guy in charge tell me. Your thoughts?

Only when you have a crew and they're firing weapons.

What about taking an "attack run"? I understand the -2 def and +2 attack but what I don't get is if I can take 1 move action straight forward or 2 or any.
