Sure seems that way these days. I'm having trouble remembering the last time I played. Shame really but its still not stopping me from playing those who will play and I'm still going to try and build my gargoyle deck.

Overall, no, it's definitely going strong.
Among us, it seems to be dying, or at least hibernating. I'm still willing to play but it seems we never do.

It's still the leading card game out there and probably will be as long as it reamins competitive and people don't lose interest. But I think for every one person that quits another person starts playing. I'm still willing to play whenever we get a chance to.

Ok glad to hear were willing to play. Sadly in the tradition of everything we do we sit around saying we will but never do. Even though I'm into Hecatomb I still want to play magic. In fact I am now working on a black/blue grind deck.

I play no other card or minis games, so for me not playing Magic means I don't do card games. Why do you think I never go to Astro City anymore?

I figured it was because 99% of the people at Astro City are jerks. That and Jakes selection leaves something to be desired.

i still love to play magic, i find myself going to astro to play them there, because we dont get togeather and play anymore, do you know what thats like? haveing to hear:
"oh, that doesn't belong in that deck, it sucks "
"umm....this is my PESTILANCE deck, it kinda needs a pestilance..."
or
"a mirrari's wake deck? you should throw in blue, take out red and make it a control deck'
"i'm not good at control, and this is my favorite deck"
"so, its slow, that means it sucks"
**5 min passes**
"so for a deck thats "slow" and "sucks" it crushed you pretty easly"
"it still needs blue"
both of those were real conversations i've had there, they are idiots, and cant understand most decks, i doubt they understand the decks they use, because they aren't theyre own decks, they copy them.

As far as its popularity outside our own group, Magic is definitely going strong. When I was last at Astro City (Wednesday early afternoon), Jake was sold out entirely of booster packs from Ravnica, the most recent set.
