My last couple decks were Tooth and Nail which focuses on game control till I can drop the Colossus, Platinum, Angel, or other Powerful Monsters.
My last deck used Death Pit Offering primarily. I got out low costing creatures like Black Knight, Shadow Creatures, etc. I also get out Tormonds Crypt, and Grave Pact. I drop Death Pit Offering sacrifice all my creatures to give my creatures +2/+2, but because of of Grave Pact my opponent has to sac their creatures too. I then Tormonds Crypt their graveyard to empty it, and use Living Death to bring my creatures back all with +2/+2 and can attack with a full army of shadow attackers.
I believe the last deck I built was out of a 9th edition booster box when Rude and I both bought them at Pastimes. It was a blue/green deck with a lot of small and medium creatures, with some card drawing and Sea's Claim so that I could attack with my Sea Monsters. There was also a Jester's Cap in the deck just as a surprise, though it didn't really work with the rest of the deck.
Other than that the last deck I built (that works, anyway) was either my blue/black ninja deck or my red/green land destruction deck.
last one i built (other than the 9th edition box thing) was my Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker deck. The one where i have a bunch of 1/1's with the sac abilities. Shirei brings them back at the end of every turn (only power 1 or less creatures). i threw altar of demetia in for fun.
Well if you know, then this won't take long. It's difficult to explain what the Turks do...
