Extension to Wishsong? This is the first I've ever heard of that. You got any more info on this?

Well, check out Terry Brooks's web page you can read part of it there. It's in a book called Legends II. Its got short stories from 11 authors and I believe Terry Goodkind has something in there too. The Shannara story seems to be about Jair and Kimber Boh going to finish what Brin started. When she destroyed the book a single page avoided destruction.

It's official I'm done with the current series. I just got the last book yesterday and just finished it about a half hour ago. Now all that's left is the new book when its out and the short story I mentioned.

I dunno about you, but I wasn't too impressed with the most recent trilogy. The only character I really liked was Traunt Rowan, and he met a rather abrupt end in the third book that I didn't care for.

First I want tosay I did enjoy the entire series although the last 6 books did have a different feel. I didn't feel the end to the last 3 books was too abrupt and alost everyoen got what they deserved. I didn't care for how and why Traunt Rowan died. What I thought was the most abrupt about the ending was thepart with Weka Dart just running off. Overall I liked the series because of the Zelda 3 like feeling where Jarka Ruus was a dark twisted version fo the real world. Makes you wonder if you could go beyond the four lands in there and find the dark versions of other plaes like where Anthax is. Although that's a horrid thought since that place was bad enough in its own. What I thought was really funny is where Pen sent the demon to though dropping him in front of that dragon with the staff.

Weka Dart had to run off, if you think about it. He couldn't have lived in the Four Lands, he'd be restless, unhappy, and ultimately troublesome. It's probably better that he disappeared, and nice that Terry Brooks avoided some awkward, tearful-goodbye scene.
I think Terry Brooks is reaching a bit on the names nowadays though. Cinnaminson? Gimme a break. I was glad when she dropped out of the story and mad when she came back at the end, especially at the expense of Grianna, who was a much better character.

Well, important thing is there were no filthy Mwellrets in the last 3 books. I didn't like the one in Wishsong of Shannara but what they did in the airship books really was disgusting. Grianne deserves a great weward for turning that one inside out for shooting off its big mouth.

You ought to make posts on the other books you been reading lately like the Conan book.

It would be pointless to do so. The sad fact is good threads are inored while things full of total crap are the ones that get all the attention. Such is the way of message boards.

What it comes down to is that people can't respond much to threads about things they don't know about. What can I say in a post about a book that I've never read or a game that I've never played other than "sounds cool" or "I'll pass on this one?"

Same here, I know nothing about it, and I don't want to sound like a moron with dumb posts.
