DM of the Rings is a webcomic that uses pictures from the Lord of the Rings movies, with word bubbles inserted for text. The premise of the story is that a DM is running Lord of the Rings as a D&D campaign, with players who have never heard of Tolkien or Middle-Earth playing the roles of the characters.
The players tend to be very cynical, the caricature of the jaded gamer who wants to get all that messy roleplaying out of the way so he can have his loot and experience points. It's not the greatest webcomic out there, but it's good for a few laughs. And some strips hit awfully close to home in terms of our own experiences.
