My game is on hold until the Star Wars game is over. I don't really want to spend every weekend either playing in a game or running one.

Alright then. That gives you a good amount of time then. My goal at the moment is to continue this game until the Battle of Endor, meaning the time of Return of the Jedi. From there we will probably at least take a hiatus, if not end the campaign.
Right now, we are about two months before the Battle of Hoth. Essentially that means that there are 14 months of game time left before I intend to take that hiatus.
These plans are, of course, only tentative. So they could be subject to change. But as of right now that's the plan.

No need to rush or anything I'm enjoying the lesure that is allowed when your a player. It's just with the hatching of schemes fro this game I can't do that and plan for Rune at the same time as well.

ugh...rune will be delayed for at least a year?...that sucks.. I was turned away from joining star wars...I wanted to play something again.. I might as well just start running my own rpg and see who wants in, if they have time...geez

If you want to run a game I'm all for playing. It's just hard to run a game and play in one at the same time. I'm one who plots crazy scemes during the week and juggling that with planning for a game and then adjusting that planning because of unexpected players moves is a bit much.

I said a year of in-game time, which does not necessarily mean a year of actual time. Actually that depends on the players.
And I think you ought to try running a game of your own. I can get you e-books of most of the Star Wars stuff if you want to do that, by the way.

That would be cool...but I probably won't do star wars, seeing as it's already going on and pretty much the people I would play with are these other folks here..
I might still take your offer up on the books tho, if I can't locate them myself...as for what I'm doing, I haven't yet decided...I'm not sure about you, but from what I gather from everyone else, I'm the only one that has experience playing/running the Marvel Comics RPG and I still have most of my old books and campaign sets...leaning towards it, so maybe I'll do that if anyone wants to play..

I didn't even know there was a Marvel Comics RPG.

Heroclix had destroyed any interest I have in comics. Only Marvel comics i'm proud to own are the last 6 issues fo the Thor comic and the 4 issues of the Loki comic. Only reason I even want those is because they are Norse related.
