If Vader was after whatever jedi it was then ya I could see that. I just mean mostly all the jedi hit by clones right at the start. I just would have thought they would get a little nudge in the force like a spidey sense kinda.

Keep in mind that the other Jedi you see killed in the movies were all in the heat of battle when the clones turned on them. They might have gotten that "spidey sense" but not been able to pinpoint its source in time. Never underestimate the power of distraction. Yoda, by comparison, was standing alone overseeing a distant battle. He may not even have sensed the clones about to attack; he could just have heard them coming up behind him. Clone troopers aren't exactly the silent types y'know. And with those big ears he might've even heard them receive Order 66. There could also be something about the nature of clones that prevents the Jedi from reading them the way they do normal beings. In the books, Luke is able to sense the presence of clones seperately from other beings. But I don't recall any mention of his trying to read their emotions or anything, so I don't know if he was able to or not. I don't really think Vader was able to suppress the Jedi's danger sense. Keep in mind that he wasn't trained in the dark side yet at this point. While he was able to use his force choke on Padme later in the movie, that's really just a corruption of the Jedi ability to move objects with the Force. It's not something radically different like suppression of another Jedi's powers. If anybody was capable of doing that, it would definitely be Palpatine. We really don't know the full extent of his powers. While Anakin had raw power in the force greater than any known Jedi, Palpatine had much more experience and training, particularly with the dark side.

Incidentally, we've seen that the Wisdom check granted to Jedi to avoid being surprised is a DC 20, which for an ability score check is actually pretty hard.

Pretty hard? Nearly impossible is more like it. I suppose Jedi get enough advantages as it is, though, for me to whine on about this slight shortcoming. So i'll stop.

Not really a shortcoming. Other classes don't even get to make the check; having to roll extremely high (or burn a Force Point) in order to avoid being surprised is still more than most characters get.
