Seems only fair to give them a thread along with Jedi. Could a sith campaign work? I have a feeling everyone would kill eachother. Only 2 at a time? Bummer. Much more exciting when there were a whole mess of them. Before they all killed eachother anyway...

It can work provided there is a living Sith Lord and none of us are gunning to be the next one. Sure they went down to internal fighting but thwy were around for a long time for a reason.

Personally I would rather be a member of the Krath. I did an online roleplaying thing where I was a Twi'lek who was part of the Krath.

From what I'm reading the Krath are a seperate ordr but thier origins lay with the Sith. If we ever do a evil game I want to be a Krath Death Witch and for what tis worth that is really nothing more than a title so I won't get any funny powers out of it. Looks like it was also the Krath who used the enhanced swords as well. From what I remember reading the Krath were more or less Sith who dabbled with Magic as well.

Here's an interesting bit of info I found the Sith code. "Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion I gain strength. Through strength I gain power. Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken."

I could swear I replied to this last night... oh well. A Sith game would work if done properly. Aside from a couple of Star Wars universe-specific rules (Dark Side points and the Sith rule of two, among others), it's essentially the same as running a campaign of evil D&D characters. In order for a Sith campaign to work properly, you either have to throw out the rule of two or have everyone else be non-Sith characters. Unless, of course, you play in the Rebellion era, when Palpatine has his Prophets of the Dark Side, his Emperor's Hands, and a number of other dark side agents running around. Anyway, for a proper evil campaign, you need realistically developed characters with real motives. If, as many evil campaigns are, it's nothing more than a bunch of characters killing random people and pillaging to their heart's content, the campaign will probably not be any fun for more than a week or two. Also, if you have a bunch of backstabbing players trying to eliminate each other, it will probably quickly devolve into the characters killing each other. And really, that's only fun for the winner, and only in a "who's bigger?" sort of way. A good evil campaign, on the other hand, has characters with a definite goal in mind (the conquering of the Republic/Empire/New Republic, the death of Luke Skwalker or what have you), and for the characters to have reason enough to work together to achieve their goals. The whole "we're a party because that's how the game is supposed to be played" falls apart much more easily in an evil campaign, I think. Not that characters plotting against each other is necessarily TOTALLY bad. But generally it should be either fallback plans in case of betrayal, or something that they aren't going to do until the end of the campaign. There should always be a bigger threat than the other players.

Well, I personally hate the rule of two. That is a load of crap from the new Trilogy where your either Jedi or Sith. Besides even if you do accept that which I don't there was a time when more than two existed. There was a time before the false Darth Bane. For that matter who sas there only has to be two. It's not like Darth Bane and the other dead Sith could come back and do anything to you for training 5 apprentices. Given the lack of background given its well within reason that Palpatine could have trained both Dooku and Darth Maul while both were alive.
