The Super Mario Brothers Super Show!

It's been out on DVD for a few months at least. I finally picked it up. Great show. It stands the test of time like so many other cartoons of the time didn't. And contrary to some rumors I'd heard, the live action segments with Mario and Luigi ARE included in this collection; even the ones going to and from commercial and the weekly previews of that Friday's newest Legend of Zelda cartoon (speaking of cartoons that didn't stand the test of time for me...).

I definitely recommend picking this one up.

Watching ALL of them turned out to be very difficult. This is a show I can only watch now in small doses, largely because the plot is almost ALWAYS the same. I think the live action segments were the best part anyway.

Its good to know they left those in after all.

Its not the plot I care about its the funny lines like when Lugi said he couldn't cross that oat because he was going to have a baby.

That's true, but if you watch a bunch of them in a row you kinda start to feel like you're watching the same episode over and over again.

It doesn't have the live actor parts which I like too but I want to see the Super Mario 3 cartoons as well. They were pretty good. There was also a Super Mario World (The snes one) cartoon series but I don't remember that being as good as the first two.
