"In 1989 Disney threatened to sue three Florida day care centers that had Mickey Mouse painted on their walls as decoration. The murals were removed. The Hanna-Barbera company contacted the centers and sent them some of their wall-ready, pre-made characters to use, and even threw them a party. Take that, you Disney poopyheads!"
i love this.

I like the one about them wanting to sue over a Winnie the Pooh statue to honor the actual bear. And there really was a bear I seen the movie about how the bear named Winnie ended up in a zoo.

I'm suspicious about a few of the claims the site makes. For one thing, they offer just about NO sources for the information they claim.
I find it quite easy to believe that many of the things they say there are probably true of Disney, such as their firing employees who are caught doing pervert things but not reporting it to the police. But if the incident was never reported, then how does this guy know about it?

The lake in Wisconsin my family has been going up to for 40 some years has three cottages that are rented out on a weekly basis. Well on these cottages the owner had names for them such as Pluto's peaceful porch paradise and others using Mickey, and Goofy. There was also a painting of the character next to the sign that resembled the Disney character, but since it was hand painted it wasn't the most accurate drawing. Well one of the guests saw this and reported it to Disney. Disney made the owner remove them or face a law suit. I found that pretty funny, and sad. Especially since they had been doing this for twenty some years or whenever Disney started getting big, and all of a sudden it was gone.

It's sad that a mega-corporation that makes billions of dollars a year feels that they have to attack people like that who aren't even really doing any damage to them.

Some of these stories are fishy but I do believe that the law lets them do whatever they like since they rake in so much money.

It seems their crimes are not limited to blatant stealing of other companies' intellectual property and passing it off as their own. What about Microsoft now? ;D

Dare I ask what you're referring to?
At first I thought maybe you meant how they stole the idea for a motion sensitive controller from Nintendo, but then I remembered it was Sony who stole that idea.
