I played very little of Super Mario Kart, but Mario Kart 64 was one of the first games I got with my N64 and it's still fun to play after all this time.
Never liked Mario RPG though.

Yeah I rented Mario Kart 64 once at my grandmas house years ago. I had a fun time with it. I liked Wario being in it but I think they kicked out the koopa troopa. It was fun as I can remember. I'm just more used to the snes one. I remember it not being that different from the snes one though. Maybe we find music from the N64 one.
As for Mario RPG I agree the concept was strange and I didn't like it when I heard of it but when I rented it and played it and got through the story I found I liked it. A rather interesting and slightly more serious Mario game with some pretty decent music. I think it was really the last great Mario game. For me anyway.

I have the soundtrack to Mario Kart 64, both on a CD and on my computer. It's pretty good stuff.
