So I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the game and I'm enjoying my character so far. I'm going to continue to work on the snobby spellcaster as we continue the campaign, but it is something completely new to me. Just wanted to say that after 11:00 I tend to get tired pretty fast, especially when 6 out of the 7 days of the week I have to get up early. So if we can avoid playing past 11:30ish that would be great. Also, I know it's not likely to happen, but I'm free before 4:00 if we want to start an hour early or something like that. Also I guess for the time being Saturday is a better day, but I know for others that is not necessarily the case so I am willing to play on Sundays, but the stopping at 11:30 is a little more strict if we do play on Sundays. I really liked the tournament, and I liked the end of the campaign with the city being attacked and the portal leading to somewhere; hanging session endings are always fun.

Oh I wanted to add that for next session you guys, Percival in particular, may be a little intrigued that there was a large-sized owlbear skeleton that helped us in that battle against the wizard and his knights. May be a discussion point once we get to safety.

I enjoyed my character as well, though I feel like I'm kind of weak right now. I think I'd be much worse off if I wasn't using a spiked chain though, since it seems like I do need the attacks of opportunity to get attacks in between casting. So I'm glad I chose not to change that.

Sunday should be fine for me, though I've been thinking about a concern I have. I for see in the future of this campaign a lot of constant bitching between Percival and Vandroy and I really don't want to be doing that. Given that my character's personality isn't the type to take orders easily, joined with the fact that he doesn't deal well with other people that are similar in personality to him, we could have a problem here. By similar in personality I mean both Percival and Vandroy are assholes. The other thing I for see is my character going off onto his own, but that really wouldn't make the game run well. Had I known how Percival would have acted I think I might have done a different character to avoid all the arguing. *shrugs* I guess we'll see what happens.
Again I'm not complaining as much as expressing a concern I see unfolding as the campaign continues.

We can make it work. Percival is a bit gruff and unpleasant, and it seems he's got a bit of a problem with authority, but he's good at heart. As I'm typing this I'm thinking of Judd Nelson's character from The Breakfast Club (Bender was his name I think?), but without the whole bad upbringing thing.
There will be teasing, insulting, and disagreement (please feel free to do likewise, in fact I encourage it), but I think as Percival sees past his preconceptions of Vandroy he will come to trust, respect, even like him. A bit of character strife in the meantime can be interesting so long as we don't let it blossom into full-blown dislike. Think of Gimli and Legolas, how they didn't like each other much at first and competed against each other even as they got to like and respect one another.
The absolute last thing I want to do is make it difficult or impossible for somebody else to play the character they want.
Edit: Oh, and I'm good for Sunday as well.

I'm Ok with Sunday. Im going to change my name to Khanvant to make things less confusing because Talux sounds too much like Tyrrox with both the t and x sounds.

So I enjoyed the game. I was just a little frustrated in the battles because I wasn't able to do what I wanted mostly because the spells just weren't working to my favor and I wasn't as prepared as I would have liked to be, but hopefully as I play the character more and level up that will improve. Also I'll try to be less "assholish" since I don't want to ruin the gaming experience for other players, but I still want to maintain the characters personality of being a snob prick who at least for now doesn't care too much for anyone else, but as we continue to be together as a party, he'll come to appreciate everyone, just in his own weird way.

Don't tone down Vandroy's not a very nice person tendencies on my account. I for one love having other PCs to argue with. But if it's for somebody else then nevermind me. I do think you should make use of your Scribe Scroll feat and make some scrolls of spells you don't want to keep prepared. If you continue to receive XP for doing the notes like you do in my campaign, you can put that into crafting so you don't pull too far ahead of everybody. I as well plan to work on making scrolls... eventually. I think as wizards we are both focused on expanding our repertoire, which is understandable and perfectly natural. But we should also do the scroll thing so that we'll have options for different situations that we end up in. I'm Ok with Sunday. Im going to change my name to Khanvant to make things less confusing because Talux sounds too much like Tyrrox with both the t and x sounds. I fear that, in my case anyway, your intentions have backfired. Talux is a name that's easy to say and fairly easy to remember. Tyrrox is a very memorable character and I don't think I would ever mix up the names except as a simple slip of the tongue. Whereas Khanvant Gashtaham is a long, complicated name that I don't find easy to say. It's up to you of course, but I for one found your original name much easier.

Were we playing again this weekend or taking a break? I could go for some Magic either day as well or in place of. Haven't played that in a while.
