sooo....i like RPGs. I like action games. shouldn't i like action RPGs too? took all of about 15 minutes for me to put the controller down.
it plays like Fallout 3. that game was putting me to sleep for the whole 3 hours i played it before i decided it was gay.
i've had my xbox for months and the only games i've enjoyed are Lost Odyssey, Ninja Gaiden 2, and Assassin's Creed 2. someone send me a good f**k**g game. i'm getting bored

The problem you are having is that you are looking for a good game on the Xbox. Just kidding I know John and Alex really like their Xbox and there are a few good games, but not many in my opinion. The only game I actually miss is Modern Warfare, and I'll probably just get the second one for the PC to fix that.

haha, i played modern warfare 2 and hated it. then i played it again just to make sure i hated it and it wasn't just a bad first experience. still hate it. only thing about that game i like is the one sniper/counter sniper mission in the spec ops mode. other than that, i wasn't impressed

What about the multi-player? Is it better than the first game?

I wasn't impressed with Fable 2 either, to be honest.
There are a few other RPGs on the 360 you could check out - Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Enchanted Arms, Blue Dragon, Dragon Age: Origins, The Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery, and others. I've heard some good things about Tales of Vesperia, but it was from a person on a forum for whom I don't have a lot of respect so I'm not sure how much their opinion on games is worth.
In terms of other games, you should get hold of Tenchu Z. I hear you can create your own character in that, which could be pretty cool.
Shooters are a dime a dozen on the Xbox 360, as I'm sure you've noticed by now. Most of them are built with multiplayer in mind as the main attraction, but I can definitely vouch that Borderlands is as much fun single player as it is in co-op play. It also has some RPG elements in that you choose a character class, level up, and gain skills to unlock depending on what class you chose.
I know it's not really an option for you at the moment, but if you can ever get hooked up to Xbox Live there are tons of games you can download from the Xbox Live Marketplace that provide a lot of replay value.
