Is there a character in some movie that you think would have been better played by somebody else? I'll give you an example: Jonathan Rhys-Meyers would have been much better in the role of Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. While Hayden Christensen apparently took acting lessons somewhere between those two movies, I think Rhys-Meyers would have done a much better job. If you want to see him at work, look for the BBC miniseries Gormenghast on DVD. I know you can rent it off of netflix.com but I don't know how easy it is to find otherwise. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers

I would have liked to seen Christopher Lambert as Magneto in the X-Mem movies. He was good as Rayden in Mortal Kombat and had the whole long white hair thing going for him.

I wish that an X-Men movie had been made a good ten years before it actually happened. Then they could have cast Arnold Schwarzanegger as Colossus. You all know he'd have been perfect for the role. If, of course, he was willing to take it since Colossus isn't exactly the star of the team.

Not a movie but tv show. Remake the odd couple with Al Bundy and Niles!

I could see Christopher Lambert as Magneto. He really did a good job as Raiden, and I thought Ian McKellan was a bit old for the role.
The Odd Couple I was never a fan of to begin with, but the two actors (or rather, the characters) you named would pretty well approximate the two from the original.

I still proclaim that Alex Trebek would have been the smoothest, most perfect Tony Stark ever if he was younger and they did an Iron Man flick...
He so has it going on....stylin tuxedos...chicks on his arms...mixin the martinis...millionare playboy tossin a metal suit on and whoopin crime in the face of his heart condition...hell, even his mannerisms are perfect..he even has the perfect mustache!
Trebek for Stark all the way, baby!!

Can't see the name Trebek without thinking of the SNL Celebrity Jeopardy parodies, truly the height of that show's long history.

Brock Lesnar for the hulk instead of that stupid CG crap they did. Just paint him green since Brock Lesnar was all about smashing stuff and no personality.

heh heh yeah that would be perfect there, Brock Lesner as Hulk, if they were to do a dragonball movie they would have to use Goldberg for Nappa come on, both bald, both muscle bound, both goatee and goldberg has the menacing enough look for it.

I would request that Christopher Judge who played Tealc on Stargate play the role of Apocalypse in an X-men or marvel related movie.

I just found out that my cousin Larry, who plays clix, is related to Brock Lesner and not 50 times removed related either. It's actually close enough to worth mentioning from what I understand.

Well, this thread has deviated from its original intent. I'll see if I can steer it back to where I was hoping to go with it.
I'd try to dissect Batman & Robin's miscasting, but I'm afraid that movie's beyond saving. Chris O'Donnell was the perfect Robin, but everything else was just horrible. So...
The next Superman movie, called Superman Returns, is currently in post-production. Lex Luthor is being played by Kevin Spacey. I know they could have found a better Lex than that! Anybody got any ideas?

Oh god...Kevin Spacey?...Where do they get this crap?
You might as well have....
::drum roll please::
Nicholas Cage as Superman!
"And then at once, the whole universe screamed in absolute horror at the thought of Nicholas Cage being Superman....The studio shook and trembled at the idea of bricks and molotov cocktails being thrown through it's very windows...People rioting in the streets of a wasteland once known as North America...And Warner Brothers studios being nothing more than a smoking crater in the ground it once stood on...No legacy to be found amidst the rubble of a new civilization...So on the seventh day, they canned his goofy ass...And it was good"
Amazingly, he still cant let it go...went and named his new son Kal-El...I guess in hopes we would all see hes such a big fan and say "ok..you can be superman"...Sorry, all I see is a paunchy eternally balding loser whos going to have his child resent him in years to come for getting his ass kicked and made fun of everyday...I still cant believe he got the Ghost Rider part, and to make it worse...instead of simply releasing it, he has to pad his resume with other films he's doing first, in case the recoil of possible suck acting as Dan Ketch is just too horrible for him to handle
They really NEED to use new unestablished actors for superhero films, unless someone is so perfect for the part, like Professor X was a natural...I cant stress that enough....Only two other exceptions applied...Thomas Jane was okay, but Dolph Lundgren did it better...and they SHOULD HAVE given Michael Keaton the money he wanted to continue as Batman...at least Bale did good...better than the last two fools

Yeah, the censor software should have an option for matching whole words only. Hopefully Kain can check and set it so that it only changes the exact word.
