I stumbled up on this and I'm thinking of getting it someday. Its a software tool that lets you create and customize maps, which may be useful for my Draghania campaign. There are other add ons you can get for designing floorplans, terrain, characters, castles, etc. Check out the site if you are interested: www.profantasy.com/products/cc3.asp

I know right? I just saw on their site that you can directly download the programs after you buy them, or you can get boxes/cds shipped to you but still downloaded them. Now I am even more interested.

Looks pretty sweet. I'm definitely curious to see how well it works.

So I made a few maps with these. I'll show you Saturday. I hope to keep making more but the software has a bit of a learning curve to it as its basically a CAD program and I've never used those before, but I'm slowly picking it up.

Ugh. I took a CAD class in high school that I had completely forgotten about until you mentioned it just now. Those kind of programs are rather tedious to use. Still, I'm interested to see what you've been able to do with it.

Yeah they are tedious and I feel like they could make it soooo much more user friendly if they went with a photo impact type of system, but I think they have just been doing things this way for over 10 years and don't want to change.
